Frameless Shower Doors

Minimal metal channel running the perimeter. Just tempered glass, precision hardware, and the clean lines that make a bathroom feel finished. Frameless enclosures are our most-requested installation, and they work in nearly any shower configuration. Every one is custom-measured and fabricated specifically for the space it goes into.

  • Glass thickness: 3/8" standard or 1/2" for a heavier, more substantial feel
  • Hardware finishes: Brushed nickel, matte black, chrome, oil-rubbed bronze, gold-inspired finishes
  • Glass types: Clear, low-iron/Starfire, rain, satin etch, gray, bronze
  • Door styles: Swing, hinged, sliding/bypass, neo-angle, notched panel

The Practical Pick

Semi-Frameless Shower Enclosures

Semi-frameless enclosures use 1/4" glass and a modern metal framing layout for your enclosure while still giving a shower door that has an open look with polished exposed edges on the bottom, open side, and top. They work well when prior holes from a previous shower enclosure will remain with existing tile, secondary and guest bathrooms, or budgetary needs.

Same on-site measurement process. Same hardware finish choices. Same installation standard. The difference is where the metal meets the glass.

Your Options

Glass Types & Door Configurations

Every enclosure we install is built from the options you choose. Here's the full range of what we carry.

Glass Types

  • Clear The standard. Safety-rated, strong, and the most common choice for frameless enclosures.
  • Low-Iron / Starfire Removes the slight green tint in standard clear glass. Crisper, more transparent. Works well with white and neutral tile.
  • Rain Glass Textured surface that diffuses light and adds visual character. Popular when you want something a step beyond clear.
  • Satin Etch A subtle matte finish. Works with contemporary and traditional designs equally well.
  • Gray Glass A tinted decorative glass that offers a modern aesthetic with more privacy while maintaining a spectrally neutral view.
  • Bronze Glass A warm, rich brownish hue with a sophisticated aesthetic, ideal for both modern and traditional designs.

Door Configurations

  • Swing / Hinged Single panel that opens outward. The most common frameless configuration, works in most shower openings.
  • Sliding / Bypass Two panels that slide past each other. Best for larger openings or bathrooms where outward swing isn't practical.
  • Neo-Angle Angled entry for corner shower configurations. Makes the most of smaller bathroom layouts.
  • Notched Panel Custom-cut glass to fit around existing obstacles like built-in benches, ledges, or angled ceilings.
  • Fixed Panel + Door A stationary glass panel paired with a hinged door. Common in walk-in and wet-room configurations.
Hardware Finishes

Match Your Space, Not Just Your Shower

Hardware finish is one of the most visible choices in a shower enclosure. We carry multiple finishes that cover the full range of bathroom designs we work in across Colorado Springs.

  • Brushed Nickel Warm silver tone. Works with almost any tile color. The most versatile finish we carry.
  • Matte Black High contrast and bold. Best in contemporary, industrial, or moody bathroom designs.
  • Chrome Highly reflective and classic. Works in nearly any bathroom and coordinates with most plumbing fixtures.
  • Oil-Rubbed Bronze Deep, warm tone with subtle variation. Pairs naturally with earth tones, warm tile, and traditional hardware.
  • Gold Options Five warm gold tones to choose from, ranging from soft satin to polished. A strong family in transitional and warm-contemporary bathrooms.

Common Questions

Shower Enclosure FAQs

  • Most installations take two to four hours once we're on-site. The lead time before that is typically one to two weeks after the on-site measurement, to allow for custom fabrication. We'll give you an accurate timeline when we provide your quote.

  • 3/8" is the standard for frameless, and 1/4" for semi-frameless. It's strong, looks great, and works well for the vast majority of shower openings. 1/2" glass is heavier and carries a more premium feel, and is worth considering for larger panels or if a high-end finish is a priority. We'll walk you through both during the consultation.

  • Yes. We measure around whatever is already in place. Frameless glass mounts using a channel-based system is the most forgiving. If there's anything that might affect the installation, we flag it during the on-site visit before we quote you.

  • Yes. Whether your current glass is cracked, outdated, or you're ready for an upgrade, we handle replacements the same way we handle new installs. We remove the old glass and hardware, take fresh measurements, and install the new enclosure. In some cases you can reuse the existing wall anchors if they're in solid shape.

  • A squeegee after each use goes a long way toward preventing water spots and soap buildup. For regular cleaning, a streak-free glass cleaner works well. Skip abrasive scrubbers on tempered glass. We'll leave you with care instructions on install day.
